Information Technology Academy welcomes SoHappy Davids

Information Technology Academy (ITA) is pleased to introduce SoHappy Davids as the new ITA Oneida student outreach support specialist. She will step into her role on February 13.

SoHappy comes to us from Pulaski Community School, where she worked as a learning support teacher/Native American advocate and built relationships with Native American and non-Native American students and families to create a safe community for learning and advocacy. Prior to her time with Pulaski Community School, she focused her talents on assisting others as a social worker, certified alcohol and drug counselor and, more recently, as an elementary school teacher. In addition to all of that, she is also a member of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Nation.

When she’s not at work, SoHappy relishes the outdoors with kayaking, snowshoeing, fishing and camping adventures. She also enjoys attending powwows and cultural events, spending time with her grandkids, reading, beading and baking.

Please join us in welcoming SoHappy to the ITA team!
