Information Technology Academy gets a new website

Information Technology Academy (ITA) is a pre-college program housed in Academic Technology that provides high school students from the Lac du Flambeau, Madison and Oneida communities and surrounding areas the opportunity to reach their full potential through hands-on technology coursework, college preparatory academics and personal wellness development. The program’s mission is to support these students’ successful completion of high school and matriculation into higher education.

Exciting news: ITA has a brand new website that launched just in time for a new recruitment drive. DoIT Communications worked closely with ITA to design and produce the WiscWeb site.

ITA Director Ron Jetty explains the project’s rationale and result:

ITA staff wanted a new website that was more descriptive of our programs and more inviting for the youth audiences we serve and for prospective students. The new site does that and more as we now have a space for giving opportunities, events, and step-by-step instructions on how to apply to the program. The site also features photos of students taking part in ITA programming. This updated look and feel is just what we hoped for.

“I look forward to continuing to build the site that has been well received by our ITA staff and the families we serve,” added Marcia Lovett, ITA associate director of operations.
