ITA Senior Wins Race to Equity Scholarship

nformation Technology Academy Oneida (ITA Oneida) Senior Jenna Cornelius Daubon is one of four recipients of the Kids Forward’s 2017 Race to Equity scholarship. The scholarship recognizes students who exhibit understanding, knowledge and passion on racial equity and social justice. The scholarship recognizes Jenna’s ability to express the importance of racial equity in our community and world, as well as how it personally affected her life. Jenna will receive a $1,000 scholarship for her higher education expenses.

Jenna, a senior at Green Bay South West High School, is in her third year of the ITA Oneida pre-college program, through which she receives technology coursework and academic support. Last summer with ITA Oneida, Jenna completed a paid internship at the Oneida Nation Market as well as a one-week residential program on UW-Madison’s campus. Jenna will be applying to UW-Madison this fall.
