- I was a part of several clubs including DECA, Spanish Club, National Honor Society, and Ignition. I was vice president of competition this past year for DECA. I have also been class treasurer since my sophomore year. NHS also involved me in a ton of community service projects like volunteering at the Minocqua Marathon, collecting food for the food pantry, helping with blood drives and more.
Accomplishments
Some accomplishments I am proud of include qualifying for junior nationals in Nordic skiing twice, as well as getting 2nd in state this year. I am also proud I have kept a high GPA all throughout high school and am 11th in my class rank. I also have passed all my AP tests I took, which were AP Human Geography, Government, Language & Composition, and Psychology. Lastly, I am very proud that I have been a 3-sport athlete all throughout high school and competed on a varsity level every year. I’ve done XC Running, Nordic Ski, and Track.
What are your future plans?
My future plans include attending UW–Madison next year and majoring in biology on a pre-med track. I am still deciding what path I want to go down, but I am interested in Physical Therapy and Veterinary Medicine. I also plan on joining the ski club at Madison to continue enjoying and competing in my favorite sport. Someday, I would like to move to a new state and work a job that I am very passionate about. I am also going to adopt at least two dogs of my own when I eventually have my own house/apartment. Traveling is also a huge goal for my future, and I would love to keep exploring new places.
